Sunday Oliseh Appointed Into Fifa Technical Committee

According to Vanguard report, the former Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh has been appointed into the new technical committee of world football governing body, Fifa.

The former Super Eagles skipper managed the team for seven months before he resigned in February over internal wrangling and a perceived lack of support from the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

That is not likely to be the case on his new job as Fifa is a familiar ground for the former Borussia Dortmund and Juventus midfielder who worked as part of the technical study group during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

‘Honoured to be appointed into the ‘new look’ FIFA Technical Department. Next mission; The 2016 Rio Olympics football,’ he wrote on his verified twitter handle (@SundayOOliseh).

Belgium-based Oliseh, who was quick to call for God’s intervention during the Brussels terror attacks, has been keeping himself busy since vacating the Super Eagles job as he was seen recently in Germany where he went to watch the UEFA Champions League match between Bayern Munich and Benfica.

He was billed to be at the House of Representatives for a hearing into his tempestuous stint as Eagles coach but has yet to honour the invitation.
